Search Warrant Executed by FDLE Leads to Recovery of Stolen Cargo

According to FDLE, agents also responded to a second Shep’s Discount location at 5421 Doolittle Road Tuesday morning. An employee tells First Coast News the Doolittle location served as a warehouse for items like furniture sold at the Normandy store.

First Coast News reported that William Shepard Ellison, 69, was arrested on two counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. FDLE Agents, along with FHP Troopers, NICB Agents and Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office Deputies also executed a search warrant at Shep’s Discounts, located at 5421 Doolittle Road in Jacksonville, FL. There, authorities recovered many stolen trailers and parts of loads stolen in cargo thefts. Authorities stated there were over 100 trailers on the property and many were reported stolen.
